Bangladesh who will tour West Indies in June will play 2 match Test series, 3 matches T20I series, and 3 matches ODI series till July 16. West Indies who are currently placed at 6th position in ICC WTC 2023 points table will play the first match against Bangladesh on July 16.

“It’s brilliant that he’s fit for the Test match. He’s always an inspiration for the younger players we have here and he’s ready to go,” stated head coach Phil Simmons.

“With 250 wickets around the corner, we’re happy with what he brings to the table, not just on the field but in the dressing room as well. I’m glad he’s fit and looking forward to seeing him getting out there and doing what he does so well.” he added.

Roach made his Test debut on July 9, 2009 against Bangladesh and in 2012 he became the first West Indies bowler to take 10 wickets in a Test since 2005. Kemar Roach played his last test match on 29 November 2021 against Sri Lanka.
