The Hundred 2023 Women’s Schedule: The third edition of the Hundred cricket tournament is scheduled to play on August 1 with the final match on August 27. ECB introduced the “Hundred-ball” tournament in 2021 and follows the Round-robin league and playoffs format.
The format was invented with the expectation that each match lasts around two-and-a-half hours. The tournament involves eight men’s and eight women’s teams located in major cities across England and Wales.
The Hundred tournament follows a different set of new formats and rules compared to the other cricket formats. All participating teams have been given a deadline until 16 February 2023 to retain players from their 2022 squads. The Hundred Draft 2023 is scheduled to take place on March 23.
All teams will lock horns to play eight league-stage matches where the top three of the Hundred 2023 points table will advance to the next stage.
While the top-placed team will directly advance to the final clash, the second and third-placed teams will battle it out in the Eliminator clash with a place in the summit encounter being at stake.
The Hundred 2023 Women’s Schedule
The Hundred 2023 Women’s Schedule: All participating teams announced their 2023 squad right after the completion of the Hundred 2023 draft. The first match will be played between Trent Rockets and Southern Brave on August 11 in Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
