Right after the conclusion of CSK’s last league game in Chepauk, MS Dhoni made an emotional gesture for his fans in the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Though CSK registered their third loss at the home venue, the craze for MS Dhoni has not even dipped a little bit. Playing against KKR, CSK lost the match by 6 wickets and still waits to confirm their playoff position with the last league game against Delhi Capitals in Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Sunil Gavaskar Gets Autography From MS Dhoni
Right after the match, Cameramen, and groundstaff, lined up in front of Dhoni to get their shirts signed. Even policemen who are deployed at the venue get a chance to shake hands with Dhoni and even received his autograph.
Players made a lap around the ground and thanked the players for their support. Dhoni with a racquet in hand hits some tennis balls into the crowd and even tosses some jerseys for the fans.
Apart from these heart-warming moments, another incident left everyone in awe. Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar runs up to MS Dhoni and received his autograph on his IPL shirt.

Dhoni and Gavaskar shared a hug after the same moment. After getting Dhoni’s autograph on his shirt, Gavaskar said on-air: “Please give me a new pink shirt for the remaining games”.
Earlier Sunil Gavaskar named Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the best captain in the Indian Premier League history, saying “There hasn’t been a captain like him and will never be one like him in future”
The defeat puts a hold on CSK’s chances of sealing a play-off berth as they are in the second spot with 15 points. CSK will play their final league game against Delhi Capital on May 20 in Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
