    Prithvi Shaw had scored another century for Northamptonshire in the One Day Cup where he reached a milestone of completing 3000 List A runs. Indian batter continued his impressive form in the One Day Cup in England with another century for Northamptonshire against Durham on Sunday.

    Prithvi Shaw made his fans go in awe with an explosive knock of 125 runs in 76 balls. His century includes 15 boundaries and seven sixes with a strike rate of 164.47.

    The Indian batter who last featured in an international match in July 2021, reached his century in just 68 balls. He and Rob Keogh helped their side chase 199 runs in just 25.4 overs.

    Durham scored 198 runs in 43.2 overs after choosing to bat first. Liam Trevaskis scored 37 runs, Alex Lees scored 34 runs and Jonathan Bushnell 32 runs with the bat for their side. Luke Procter took 4 wickets in 34 runs in nine overs.

    With this century he achieved the milestone and has also completed 3,000 runs on List-A. In 57 matches, he has scored 3056 runs at an average of 57.66 and a strike rate of 126.69. he has 10 centuries and 11 fifties, with the best score of 244 for Northamptonshire against Somerset.

    Shaw brought up his double century in 129 balls after reaching the century in just 81 balls. Northamptonshire had reached 415/8 in 50 overs. Jack Brooks (3/75) and Danny Lamb (2/81) were the bowlers for Somerset.

    After the game, Northamptonshire coach John Sadler praised Prithvi Shaw in the white ball history. He said, “Humble is the perfect word to describe Prithvi Shaw. He’s gracious and respectful, he’s loved being a part of the team. We’re loving having him here as well.”

    He added, “His skill speaks for itself, he’s a superstar. He’s good as I’ve seen in 25 years of playing this game. He’s up there with the best in terms of ball-striking. He genuinely wants to win games of cricket and has been a star in the dressing room.”

    Prithvi Shaw is the sixth-highest score in List-A cricket, with a score of 277 in 141 balls being smashed by Narayan Jagadeeshan of Tamil Nadu against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

    This is the second-best List-A score in England, with Alistair Brown with 268 for Surrey against Glamorgan being the highest.

    Cheteshwar Puajara is in the second position, with 329 runs at an average of 109.66 and a strike rate of 88.44 with two centuries and a fifty and the best score of 117*. Now he is representing Sussex.

    Cheteshwar Pujara’s List-A record is also impressive as he stands at 5,583 runs in 122 matches and 120 innings at an average of 58.15 with 16 centuries and 33 fifties and a best score of 174.
