BCCI decides to host IPL 2022 Mega Auction for the upcoming season right after the inclusion of 2 new IPL teams namely Lucknow Super Giants and Ahmedabad Titans. The Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction is all set to be conducted on February 12 and 13, 2022.
The IPL 2022 mega Auction live streaming will kickstart from 11 AM on February 12. The IPL 2022 mega auction will be a two-day event that will be held in Bengaluru.

Earlier, BCCI and IPL governing body released the IPL 2022 Mega Auction Guidelines which should be followed by all 10 IPL teams during and before the event.
Preity Zinta Skips IPL 2022 Mega Auction
Indian actress and entrepreneur Preity Zinta took to his official Twitter account and posted the reason for her unavailability for the IPL 2022 Mega Auction event.
In the Twitter post, Preity Zinta wrote “This year I’m going to miss the IPL Auction as I cannot leave my little ones & travel to India. The last couple of days have been hectic discussing d auction & all things cricket with our team. I wanted to reach out to our fans & ask them if they hv any player suggestions..”

Ahead of IPL 2022 Mega Auction, PBKS retained just two of its players namely Mayank Agarwal and Arshdeep Singh for INR 12 Crores and INR 4 Crores respectively. Punjab Kings (PBKS) will enter the IPL 2022 mega auction with the highest purse value of INR 72 crore.
