    IPL 2022: Slice Signs as Principal Sponsor of Mumbai Indians

    Principal Sponsor of Mumbai Indians: India’s leading credit card challenger Slice signs a three-year partnership deal with Mumbai Indians to be their Principal Sponsor in IPL. This will be the first sports sponsorship deal for the Bangalore-based credit card company.

    Before this Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has signed a 3-year partnership with TVS Eurogrip Tyres for almost 100 Cr value and My11Circle has signed up as the title sponsor for the Lucknow-based new IPL team for a period of 3 years. Check: All IPL team sponsors list

    According to available information, the deal is valued at 90 Crore+ for 3 Seasons. As part of the deal, slice’s logo will appear on the front of all Mumbai Indians’ official jerseys.

    The retained players — Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah — were ecstatic with the new deal and welcomed the new title partner aboard in style.

    BCCI is also considering an option to start IPL around the 4th week of March to reduce the doubleheaders in IPL 2022. The board also plans to stage IPL 2022 in South Africa or Sri Lanka as their Plan B if they’re unable to host in India due to the COVID19 situation.
