Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has relieved from the Indian squad as the cricketer says he needs time to prepare for his marriage. Bumrah was relieved from the Indian squad for the fourth Test and is set to miss the limited-overs series against England too.
The ODI series will be played in a biosecure environment in Pune, starting March 23.

A source close to the Indian board in the know of developments has confirmed that the pacer is set to get married soon and has taken a leave to prepare for the same. However, the name of the girl to whom the right-arm seamer is tying the knot is unknown.
“Speaking to ANI, sources in the BCCI in the know of developments have confirmed that the pacer is set to get married soon and has taken a leave to prepare for the same,” ANI reported.
“He informed the BCCI that he is getting married and has taken the leave to help in preparations for the big day,” the source was quoted as saying.
The 27-year-old has bowled 277.1 overs in competitive cricket over the last five months. Bumrah bags 4 wickets under his name in the recently concluded 1st test match between India and England.
Bumrah has been rested for the second match while he returned for the 3rd Test match and went wicketless. India is leading the Test series by 2-1 and needs just one victory or draw to enter the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship.
Bumrah’s unavailability from the entire white-ball leg against England gives India an opportunity to try out new players. It is expected that fans can see his action in the upcoming Indian Premier League(IPL) 2021 where he plays for Mumbai Indians.
The IPL 2021 is rumoured to begin from April 11, 2021 and set to host by BCCI in India.
