Hardik Pandya fitness update ahead of IPL 2024
The Indian all-rounder has posted a video of himself working out in the gym after the ankle injury he sustained during the World Cup match against Bangladesh in Pune. He missed the remaining tournament due to an injury when India lost the World Cup finals against Australia.
On this occasion, a video of the Indian all-rounder working out in the gym has been posted on the official Instagram page of the player showing his recovery from his ankle injury.

Recently, the player was transferred from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians which makes the biggest trade deal in IPL history. The trade came into existence after the day of the deadline for the player’s registration for the IPL 2024 auction.
The MI franchise has traded Australia all-rounder Cameron Green to RCB and completed Hardik’s trade with Gujarat as both trades were carried out as per the existing player fees.
He joined the Gujarat Titans during the IPL season 2022 and helped them to win their maiden IPL trophy. They reached the finals of the IPL 2023 where they lost to Chennai Super Kings.
Several reports have revealed that the all-rounder is expected to captain Mumbai Indians for the upcoming IPL edition. With the IPL auction 2024 is scheduled to held in Dubai on December 19, the IPL 2024 will start on March 23, 2024.
Pandya was rested during the five-match T20I series played between India and Australia where the former won the series 4-1. He will be also missing the upcoming India’s South Africa tour which is scheduled to start on December 10.

India will be playing their first T20I match against South Africa on December 10 at Kingsmead Cricket Ground.
