- He made his List A debut for Saurashtra in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 22 February 2018.
- He made his first-class debut for Saurashtra in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy on 20 November 2018, taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
- He made his Twenty20 debut for Saurashtra in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 21 February 2019.
- In February 2021, Sakariya was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for 1.2 crores in the IPL 2021 auction ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League.

train himself playing tennis ball cricket. - Sakariya suffered from an injury upon his glute and a stress fracture on his back due to over-working his body and, he was out for nearly a year.
