After nearly a decade and a half, Jayson Tatum’s historic gameplay guides the Boston Celtics to suppress Dallas in the 2024 NBA final.

The hero of the Celtics – Jayson Tatum recorded 31 points and 11 assists in this historic match and became the first Celtics player with 20 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds in a Finals game since Larry Bird in 1986.

Boston had the best regular-season record (64-18) and rolled through the playoffs with a 16-3 record, never needing more than five games to win a series. Notably, the NBA has a different champion for the sixth consecutive season.

The cruising victory came just four days after the Mavericks had won in a 38-point drubbing in game four.

Along with Tatum, Jaylen Brown added 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists while Jayson secured 31 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.

Boston’s defense kept Luka Doncic (28 points on 25 shots) and Kyrie Irving (15 points on 16 shots) in check, holding Dallas to under 100 points mark for the fourth time in five games.
