Paris Olympics 2024 will be played between 26 July and 11 August in Paris, France. A total of 10,714 athletes from 206 teams(including the Refugee Olympic Team) will participate in the Paris Olympics 2024.
The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will take place on 26 July 2024 while the closing ceremony is scheduled for 11 August 2024.
In Summer Olympics history, India so far bagged 35 medals which includes 10 Gold, 9 Silver and 16 Bronze. In the previous Olympics held in Tokyo(2020), India was positioned in 48th place in the Tokyo Olympics medal table with a total of seven medals.
A total of 121 players featured in the previous Olympics while this year will witness a total of 117 athletes in the event. Out of 117, 72 athletes will be making their debut in the Paris Olympics 2024.
India will compete in 16 sports during the Paris 2024 Olympics – Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Equestrian, Golf, Hockey, Judo, Rowing, Sailing, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Tennis. They will be competing in 69 events for 95 medals.
