Afghanistan innings
Sediqullah Atal and Mohammad Shahzad opened the innings while Lahiru Samarakoon opened the bowling attack. With Atal’s dismissal with 1 run by Thusara, Mohammad scored 20 runs and was sent out by Lahiru Samarakoon. Noor Ali Zadran scored 51 runs while Shahidullah scored 23 runs and was sent out by Viyaskanth. Other batters were sent out with low figures as they struggled against Sri Lanka bowlers.

Sri Lanka innings
With the target of 117, Shevon Daniel and Lasith Croospulle opened the innings while Faree Ahmad Malik opened the bowling attack. The openers failed to create an impression as Shevon was sent out with 9 runs while Lasith was sent out with 16 runs by Sharafuddin Ashraf.
Other batter were sent out with a low figures with the intense bowling attacks of Afghanistan. With the dismissal of Sahan Arachchige with 22 runs Sri Lanka was down to 8 wickets for 84 runs. By the end, Sri Lanka scored 108 runs losing all 10 wickets in the first ball of the last over.
