Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s videos of returning to practice had been doing the rounds for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League would have given his plentiful fans a chance of watching him do his thing on a cricket ground yet again.
IPL postponed
Due to the out break of corona virus BCCI along with IPL franchise decide to postpone the series on behalf of the safety measure. Previously IPL franchise agreed to play the matches behind the closed door with a condition. They request the BCCI to have a discussion with the particular Government department regards the visa restriction imposed till April 15.
The BCCI arranged an official meeting with their IPL franchises on March 14(Saturday) regards the IPL postpone. And come up with the decision to postpone the match to Mid of April. BCCI President Ganguly after the meeting states that ,“It will happen, because if it is April 15, then, in any case 15 days are gone, it has to be truncated. How truncated, how many games, I can’t say at the moment.”
CSK left the camp
Following the announcement regarding the postponement of the tournament, CSK have decided to send all their players back home. The preparation camp conducted by the franchise had seen the likes of Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Murali Vijay, Karn Sharma, Piyush Chawla and others taking part.
On the last day before returning home, Dhoni was seen greeting his fans and all other people associated with Chennai Super Kings. The legendary cricketers shook hands, signed autographs and interacted with fans despite the coronavirus scare.
