Due to the out break of corona virus the scheduled sports event has been cancelled. Indian government imposed 21 day lock down in order to maintain social distancing which could prevent the corona virus spread. To face this economic down situation many start to donate for corona virus relief fund.
Earlier Indian former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made his contribution to corona virus relief fund. Followed by Indian team opener Rohit Sharma too made his contribution in order to help the need.
Rohit also confirmed that out of his donation, Rs 45 lakh will be going towards PM-CARES Fund and Rs 25 lakh to UP CM’s Relief Fund to help those in need during these dark times. In addition to this, Sharma also pledged Rs 5 lakhs each towards Feeding India Organisation and Welfare of Stray Dogs.
The Men In Blue vice-captain took to Twitter and wrote: “We need our country back on feet & the onus is on us. I’ve done my bit to donate 45lakhs to #PMCaresFunds, 25lakhs to #CMReliefFund Maharashtra, 5lakhs to @FeedingIndia and 5lakhs to #WelfareOfStrayDogs.Let’s get behind our leaders and support them.”

Virat Kohli took to Twitter and said that the “suffering of so many” had left him and Anushka heartbroken and hoped that their contribution helps ease “the pain of our fellow citizens”. The overall number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 1000-mark with over 25 deaths reported in the country due to the deadly virus.
“Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens,” Virat Kohli posted on his official Twitter handle.
