IPL uses CSK’s skipper to create awareness

To raise awareness, the Indian Premier League (IPL) official Twitter account on Tuesday (March 24) posted a photograph of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni, urging everyone to stay at home.

CSK’s official Twitter handle posted a video of ‘DJ Bravo’, giving fans an early insight about his new track as the Windies allrounder ended up singing a few lines too.

Bravo’s song regards MS Dhoni

At the start of the video, Bravo also said that “this is a sample of a song” that he is working on and it is for my brother MSD.

In the clip, Bravo can be humming the lyrics, which go as follows: “MS Dhoni, number seven, MS Dhoni, number seven, all of Ranchi shouting Dhoni, all of India shouting Mahi, all of Chennai shouting Thala, MS Dhoni is a world-beater”.

“Champion @DJBravo47’s next song is for ‘his brudah, his brudah from anodah muddah’ – @msdhoni No.7,” CSK’s captioned the video on Twitter.

Dhoni’s slot in T20I world cup

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni arrived to Chennai to start his practice session with team mates. The former Indian skipper was last seen in action against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup semifinal, a game India lost. He made himself unavailable for India’s international assignments post the WC exit and was eventually dropped from the BCCI’s list of centrally contracted players in January.

As pointed out by BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and India head coach Ravi Shastri, Dhoni’s international future depends on his performances in IPL 2020 which comes in to consider him in T20 World Cup planned later this year in Australia.
