The 36 year old South African fast bowler Dale Steyn points out AB de Villiers as his favorite player. Steyn recently attempted the Google Autocomplete interview where he answered several questions regarding his cricketing career.
Steyn’s Google Autocomplete interview
Dale Steyn was not in the squad for nearly a year due to his shoulder injury. Dale was named in the T20 squad to face England where South Africa lost the series.
Steyn return to his home after the Pakistan Super League(PSL) postponed due to the corona outbreak. Dale played for United this season and picked two wickets in four matches. Where his team finished in the bottom of the points table with only 3 wins in 10 matches played.
During the Google Autocomplete interview Steyn answered a total of five questions. Where he also asked about his health and fitness mantra for which Steyn kept it simple by laying emphasis on exercising regularly, training hard, looking after his health and drinking packaged milk.
Ab de Villiers- Favorite for Steyn too
On being asked about his favourite cricketer, Steyn without any doubt spelled South African former captain AB de Villiers. Steyn made his Test debut alongside de Villiers against England in 2004 in Port elizabeth. And also out of Steyn’s 265 international appearance 221 have come in de Villiers presence.
The last question which Steyn was asked was regarding the batsman who he has dismissed the most number of times in international level. While Steyn started the answer with a smile and took the name of veteran Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
The 35-year-old South African player AB De Villiers had announced his retirement from international cricket on May 23, 2018. However, he tried to stage a comeback in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 but was not able to reach an agreement with the management.

South Africa’s head coach Mark Boucher has given AB De Villiers a deadline of June 1 to make himself available for the selection. Where he could make his international return for the Proteas lineup against Sri Lanka this year.
Steyn pressing hard for a spot in the South African team for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup. While De Villiers scheduled to attend his final chance of selection after the IPL 2020. But due coronavirus pandemic the IPL set to postpone to April 15 the pair might once again be seen playing together at the highest level.
