WPL 2023 Anthem: Ahead of the start of the much-awaited Women’s Premier League 2023, BCCI has released the WPL Anthem for the 2023 season. The first edition of the WPL is scheduled to kick start on March 4 with the first match between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians.
BCCI have received INR 4669.99 crores in the Women’s Premier League team Auction. The five teams competing at the WPL are- Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Titans. All the teams have started announcing the names of their team captains ahead of the tournament.
Top three teams of the WPL 2023 Points Table will enter the WPL 2023 Playoffs. The winner of the WPL 2023 will receive a prize amount of INR 6 crore while the runner-up will receive INR 3 crore. The 3rd team will receive INR 1 crore.
