TATA WPL 2025 Schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the highly anticipated WPL 2025 schedule on January 16, 2025.
As per the schedule, the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be facing Gujarat Giants in the inaugural match of the third edition of the Women’s Premier League.
The T20 league will be held in four cities – Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Mumbai. Vadodara hosts six matches before the tournament shifts to Bengaluru, where RCB plays its first home game against Mumbai Indians (MI) on February 21.
Lucknow will make its debut as a WPL venue while the final leg unfolds in Mumbai with the Cricket Club of India hosting the last two league games and playoffs.
The table toppers will qualify for finals directly, while second and third-placed teams face off in the Eliminator on March 13. The finals are slated for March 15 and all matches will remain single-headers.

Ahead of the WPL 2025 auction, BCCI revealed the released players list and after the auction, the WPL 2025 squad for all teams has been announced. Around 120 players underwent the hammer in the auction out of which 91 Indians and 29 overseas players, including 3 players from associate countries.
A total of 19 slots across five franchises are filled during the WPL 2025 auction on December 15 in Bengaluru.
