WPL 2024 Retained Players List: Ahead of the much-awaited second edition of the Women’s Premier League(WPL), all participating teams have announced their retained and released players list.
Women’s Premier League also follows the IPL auction model where the teams will enter the auction with a purse value equal to their released players’ salary amount.

The first season was played in March 2023 where the Mumbai Indians won the title by beating Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2023 Final.
In WPL 2023, a total of five teams played against each other in a double round-robin format, where the three teams finished with the most points entered the playoff stages of the competition.
The first season of the league was played between 4 March to 26 March 2023 and featured 22 matches, all held at Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
WPL 2024 Retained Players
WPL 2024 Retained Players List: BCCI decided to host the WPL 2024 Auction on December 9 in Mumbai. The window for the five franchises to retain players for the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 season came to an end on October 15, 2023.
While 60 players, including 21 overseas cricketers, were retained across five franchises, 29 players were released from their existing squads.
