WPL 2024 Gujarat Giants Retained Players List:Â A total of 60 players including 21 overseas cricketers were retained across five playing teams while 29 players were released from their existing squads.
In WPL 2023, a total of five teams played against each other in a double round-robin format, where the three teams finished with the most points entered the playoff stages of the competition.
The first season was played in March 2023 where the Mumbai Indians won the title by beating Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2023 Final.

WPL 2024 Gujarat Giants Retained Players List: The window for the five franchises to retain players for the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 season came to an end on October 15, 2023.
BCCI has announced the retained and released players list for all participating teams on October 19.

Gujarat Giants in WPL 2023
WPL 2024 Gujarat Giants Retained Players List: The Gujarat Giants team is owned by Adani Group. In the 2023 edition, Gujarat Giants managed to register just only 2 games out of the 8 group matches.
Gujarat Giants kickstarted their campaign with a couple of losses in their first 2 games against Mumbai Indians Women and UP Warriorz. Gujarat Giants registered their first victory of the season in their third game against Royal Challengers Bangalore Women.
Gujarat Giants failed to maintain their winning phase in their following games and lost another couple of games against Delhi Capitals Women and Mumbai Indians Women. Gujarat Giants registered their second victory of the season against Delhi Capitals Women in the 14th game of the tournament.
With another couple of losses in their following games, Gujarat Giants failed to make it to the top 3 of the points table and eventually kicked off from the tournament.
