WPL 2024 Auction Registered Players: Women’s Premier League 2024 Auction is scheduled to take place on December 9 in Mumbai. The first season was played in March 2023 where the Mumbai Indians won the title by beating Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2023 Final.
In WPL 2023, a total of five teams played against each other in a double round-robin format, where the three teams finished with the most points entered the playoff stages of the competition.
WPL 2024 Auction Registered Players
WPL 2024 Auction Registered Players:Â A total of 60 players including 21 overseas cricketers were retained across five playing teams while 29 players were released from their existing squads.
As per a report, an additional purse of INR 1.5 crore (approx. US $180,228) will be available to each of the five teams in addition to the balance amount left from the last auction as well as from player releases.
The amount derived from the releases along with the balance left from the last auction will be added to the fresh purse of INR 1.5 crore. Overall, 30 slots – including nine overseas – are available to be filled at the day-long auction.
A total of 165 cricketers will undergo the hammer during the auction event. Out of 165 players, 104 are Indians and 61 are overseas players of which 15 players are from associate nations. The total capped players are 56, uncapped players are 109.

The WPL 2024 Auction live streaming will be available on Jio Cinema and Sports 18 from 2 PM IST onwards.
