Indian cricket team went under a major threat right after their skipper Rohit Sharma faced a blow to his right forearm during an optional training session on Tuesday at the Adelaide Oval.
Rohit Sharma Injured During Training Session
Indian cricket team currently halts at Adelaide Oval to play the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 against England on November 10.
As a part of the training session, Rohit Sharma hits the net and faced the team’s throwdown specialist, Raghu. While doing so Rohit was struck by the ball in his right fore arm following which he immediately looked in a bit of pain.
The India captain took a break, sat on the sides while an ice pack was being applied to the area.
“He didn’t feel much discomfort when he batted for the second time. CT scan or x-ray might not be needed. Also we have one day in the middle which is also optional session. It doesn’t look serious as of now,” a source privy to the development told PTI.
