We’re having a bowl. The dew plays a big role and we have a strong bowling attack, so we hope we can perform. It was an emotional group stage, and we have to regroup after that. Wiese is a great performer, but 10 other guys are raring to go today. There’s a lot of potential and we want to unleash them as well. We play each other often, so we know them quite well. We are going in with the same side, no changes.

Kyle Coetzer is nursing a finger injury so I’m standing in as his deputy today. Craig Wallace comes in for him. We are putting the Afghanistan game to one side now, and we are happy with the cricket we are playing at the moment. It doesn’t throw us off, and we are ready to get back on track. Namibia are a strong side, and it’ll be a good game, but we are ready and raring to go.

Scotland Batting
Munsey and Matthew Cross gets into the crease to lead Scotland while Ruben Trumpelmann opens the bowling attack. Ruben Trumpelmann dismissed Munsey in the very first delivery of the innings and makes an impressive start.
Trumpelmann in the same over dismissed MacLeod and Berrington for duck and loads massive pressure over the Scotland players. Scotland are in need to build a partnership to avoid them by entering the name in the list of lowest score in ICC T20 World Cup sofar.
Leask then joins hands with Cross and builds a 39 runs partnership and saves Scotland from ending up as a low-scoring team. Chris Greaves for his part added a steady 25 runs and makes Scotland to score 109 runs at the end of the 20 overs.
Namibia Batting
Craig Williams and Michael van Lingen gets into the crease to chase down the target of 110 runs while Wheal opens the bowling attack.
Scotland need to pick early wickets in order to increase the winning percentage. But Namibia makes a slow start as the run rate needed was less than 6 per over. Safyaan Sharif in the 5th over dismissed Michael van Lingen for 18 runs and draws the first blood while Namibia scored 28 runs.
Zane Green join hands with Williams and leads the game. Chris Greaves puts an end to the partnership by dismissing Green for 9 runs. Though the run rate needed was in control Namibia starts to lose the wickets in regular intervals.
With just 7 needed off the last 12 balls JJ Smit lead Namibia to register their first victory of the Super 12 group matches with a six of the first ball of the final over.

Player of the Match
It felt great to win and hope to get a few more. I’m focused on the training, and happy to see that things went my way. I was nervous out there, but I thought, it’s the World Cup, so why not enjoy it.
I use swing as a weapon upfront, so luckily it went my way today. We hope to win a few more, but this is massive for us.
