We are going to bowl first. Dew is going to be a big factor. Try and restrict them and chase it down convincingly if the situation allows us to. Winning my first toss on my birthday, probably we should have played the first game on my birthday (smiles). The intensity from ball one is important.
For us, it’s just about keeping that intensity on for 20 overs. That’s something we expect from people and people have done that over the years as well. Shardul makes way for Varun. He is back fit, so he will be our third spinner.

Looks a good deck. Happy to go either way. First of all great occasion for us and Scottish cricket and the associate game. We are playing against some of the best players from the world here and in the last couple of games too.
India is another special occasion for us. We have got to go out there, enjoy ourselves and try and express ourselves as much as possible. Same team.

Munsey and Coetzer walks into the crease to open the batting innings while Bumrah opens the bowling attack.
India needs to pick quick wickets inorder to restrict the batting team from scoring massive runs. Bumrah picks the first wicket by dismissing Coetzer for 1 run and draws the first blood for Scotland.
Shami in the last over of the powerplay dismissed Munsey for 24 runs and sent backs the opener to the pavilion. Followed Scotland players struggles to build a partnership where the team loses all their 10 wickets for 85 runs.
India need to chase this down in:

Player of the Match
I was enjoying bowling on this track today. The oddball was turning, I was enjoying it very much. The first one (Berrington’s wicket) was a special one, whenever you get a batsman out with a turning ball, that’s always special.
We were looking to play good brand of cricket. Everybody knows that we had to win with a big margin for us to up our net run-rate, we were looking to play our best game and give our 100% on the field.
Everybody’s happy, one more game to go, hopefully, we play like this. If we play like this, nobody can beat us. In T20 format, we have to play like this, that is for sure.
