We’ll bat first. The wicket looks really goot to bat on. Feeling really good after the performance in the last game. A lot of plus points, the boys played really well. Asghar’s service in the last 16 years has been great. He has promoted a lot of cricket for Afghanistan. Mujeeb is unfit and Hamid Hassan will be playing.

A great opportunity for our bowlers to put them under pressure. Looks like a good wicket with wind blowing across. It won’t be easy to set a target. We have planned the same as we planned against Sri Lanka.
We are not playing the bowler, we are only playing the ball. We are not going to spend energy on the opposition and are instead going to focus on our strengths. No team changes.

Afghanistan Batting
Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Shahzad gets into the crease to lead Afghanistan while Ruben Trumpelmann opens the bowling attack.
Zazai starts the innings with a boundary of the very second delivery. The duo scored 50 runs for no wickets loss at the end of the powerplay. Smit in the followed-over breaks the partnership by dismissing Hazratullah for 33 runs.
At the end of the 10 overs, Afghanistan scored 69 runs for 2 wickets loss. Namibia bowlers struggle to restrict the Afghan batsmen from scoring runs.
With Afghan skipper Nabi’s impressive 32 runs off 17 balls leads Afghanistan to score 160 runs for 5 wickets loss at the end of the 20 overs.

Craig Williams and Michael van Lingen gets into the crease to lead Namibia while Naveen-ul-Haq opens the bowling attack.
Naveen-ul-Haq in the very first over dismissed Craig Williams for 1 run and draws the first blood. Naveen-ul-Haq in his second ver dismissed Michael van Lingen and loads pressure over the Namibia batting unit.
