Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Match Officials: The 8th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will be played between February 10 to February 26. A total of 23 matches will be played between 10 participating teams.
The tournament is scheduled to hold in South Africa following CSA’s inaugural SA20 League.
Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Match Officials
As per ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 schedule, the first match of the tournament will be played between South Africa Women and Sri Lanka Women at Newlands, Cape Town. The defending champion Australia will play their first match against New Zealand on February 11 at Boland Park, Paarl.
Ahead of the tournament, ICC confirmed that all match officials at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 will be women in a historic first.
The eighth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup will have 13 female officials, surpassing the previous highest tally, reached at the ongoing ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, where nine of 15 match officials are women.
