The chat with Kohler-Cadmore was getting 50 off 50 balls. We did that and then unfortunately he got out, but we had enough guys to come out and score the big blows. Sams has been unbelievable this season for us.
I think we needed good cricket shots, the moment you went searching and played across the line things got difficult. They have a dangerous batting line-up, and when it gets close after you haven’t won the last two games, you start questioning yourself.
But young John Turner did a fantastic job, bowling to Joe Clarke who has been one of the best players in this tournament. Full credit to the youngster, I’ve seen him do these kind of things for Hampshire, happy for him.
