Player of the match
Chris Jordan | Southern Brave
Obviously, I tweaked them trying to run fast (asked about his injury), just happy that the boys got the job done. Just bat as deep as possible, a run-a-ball would have got us to 110, a few boundaries would have got us to 130, we decided we needed a bit more than that.
It wasn’t an easy wicket, the top-order boys struggled a bit. The crowd has been amazing, they’ve always supported us and backed us as we got going.
I would have loved to be there to help the team win, but the boys did really well, everyone did a good job and happy to have got the job done.
The guys have had to perform different roles, at some point, it’ll all come together, but at the moment, we’ve got someone doing the work for us.
