Will Jacks | Oval Invincibles
Up and down, crazy finish. Great game and we thought we’d won it twice. Lucky to get over the line. When I came on to bowl, I knew I’d be under the pump. Try to be unpredictable, think how I would as a batter, what to do and how to counteract.
Bowled a beamer, sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn’t. Was tough to start, they bowled well. There was a bit of zip in the surface. We have to fight through the first 20 balls and we know at the Oval, once the ball stops swinging, you can counterattack.
It’s now 2 games we have won defending here and Headingley. We have got 2 group games left and hopefully we can finish well and progress to the knockouts.
