Player of the Match
Stephen Eskinazi | Welsh Fire
Outstanding, we played some really good cricket and it’s really exciting. Watching the women’s game before, we knew the pitch was drier and the new ball was the best time to bat, we did see that taking pace off the ball was making batting tough.
I’m enjoying my batting, we don’t have points to prove, but we didn’t have a couple of great years before. He’s very relaxed (on coach Mike Hussey), had a good chat, has a lot of self-confidence and that shows in the way he makes the team play.
