Lyth and Chris Lynn gets into the crease to lead Northern Superchargers while Denly opens the bowling attack.
Chris Lynn failed to provide the expected opening runs and was sent to the pavilion by Nabi after scoring 14 runs. Soon in the 27th delivery Lyth too dismissed by Blake Cullen for 4 runs and walks to the pavillion.
Willey and Harry Brook joins hands and makes the much-needed partnership and added 62 runs to the scoreboard. Mason Crane in the 62nd delivery managed to dismiss Harry Brook for 28 runs and break the partnership. But Willey stands undefeated and scored 81 runs and drags the team to score 155 runs for 3 wickets loss.
London Spirit Batting
Rossington and Josh Inglis gets into the crease to lead London Spirit to chase down the target of 156 runs while Willey opens the bowling attack.
Willey in the 4th delivery dismissed Rossington and draws the first blood for the team. Willey continued and dismissed Josh Inglis in the 10th delivery and stuns the opponents.
London Spirit struggles to make a partnership after losing early wickets. Northern Superchargers bowlers added pressure to the chasing team by putting pressure over their batting with tight deliveries.
Soon London Spirit starts to lose wickets in regular interval and wind up the innings for 92 runs for losing 9 wickets in the allotted 100 deliveries.

I haven’t contributed much so far. So it’s nice to contribute today. It (captaincy) is a great responsibility to have, a nice bunch of guys and it’s nice to win today. The first two games, we made some small mistakes that cost us. The guys have worked hard and we have corrected it. My goal is to stay fit and enjoy my cricket. Every team has some fantastic cricketers.
