    Shreyanka Patil makes ODI debut at Wankhede Stadium against Australia

    The All-rounder Shreyanka Rajesh Patil makes her ODI debut in the second match against Australia in the home tour on December 30.

    Shreyanka Patil makes ODI debut

    After suffering a defeat in the first ODI match in the Australia Women’s tour of India 2023, Shreyanka Rajesh Patil makes her debut in the second ODI.

    Patil was brought into the squad for the T20I series against England earlier this month and she replaced left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque in the second ODI match who made her ODI debut during the match at Wankhede.

    Smriti Mandhana returned to the squad who was sick during the selection for the series opener. On the other hand, Australia has made a change in the playing Xl which played in the first ODI. The medium Pacer Megan Schutt was replaced by Pace Bowler all-rounder Kim Garth.

    Australia led the three-match series 1-0, after winning the match by six wickets in Mumbai. After winning the toss, the India women chose to bat where they scored 282 runs losing 8 wickets in their innings.

    But, Australian players Phoebe Litchfield, Ellyse Perry, and Tahlia McGrath were the players who supported the side on board. Phoebe scored 78 runs while Ellyse Perry scored 75 runs and Tahlia McGrath scored 68 runs.

    Beth Mooney scored 42 runs and helped the side. Finally, Australia scored 285 runs on the 47th over of their innings.

    After winning the toss, Australia women chose to bat in the second ODI match at Wankhede Stadium.
