West Indies tour of Netherlands 2022: Cricket West Indies (CWI) have announced the 15-member squad for the Netherlands tour which kick starts from May 31, 2022.
West Indies are scheduled to play a total of 3 match ODI series where newly-appointed skipper Nicholas Pooran will lead the West Indies side.
The upcoming tours for West Indies will be the first two series without former ODI captain Kieron Pollard, who announced his retirement from international cricket last month.
Post the Netherlands tour, West Indies will tour Pakistan to play the 3 matches ODI series. Notably, both series are part of the ICC ODI Super League 2023.
All-rounder Jason Holder is being rested to manage his workload, whilst Shimron Hetmyer is also unavailable owing to the birth of his first child. Evin Lewis was not considered for selection after failing to meet CWI’s fitness criteria.
Netherlands vs West Indies 2022 Schedule
The 1st ODI match between Netherlands and West Indies will kick start from May 31st with the final match on June 4. All three OSI matches will be played in VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen.
