Sri Lanka tour of New Zealand 2024-25 Schedule, Squad: The Sri Lanka cricket team is scheduled to tour New Zealand between 28 December 2024 and 11 January 2025 to play three T20I and three ODI match series.
Sri Lanka and New Zealand both played their last bilateral ODI series in November this year where Sri Lanka won the three-match series by 2-0. In the same tour, two T20Is were played, resulting in a draw after each won a game.
Sri Lanka’s last T20I series victory against New Zealand came in 2013/14 that too in their home conditions. Sri Lanka hasn’t registered a single series victory against New Zealand in T20I format in New Zealand.
Notably, the 2013/14 victory against New Zealand is Sri Lanka’s sole T20I series victory against Kiwis since their first meetup in 2006/07. On the other hand, in the ODI format, Sri Lanka has struggled to register a series victory against New Zealand in away conditions since 2000/01.
