SL vs IND 2024 Schedule: The Indian Cricket team is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka to play three T20Is and three ODIs between 26 July and 7 August 2024 across two different venues in Sri Lanka.
India last toured Sri Lanka in 2021 and played the same set of matches. India won the 3 match ODI series by 2-1 while Sri Lanka won the three-match T20I series by 2-1. Shikhar Dhawan was India’s leading run-getter of the series in both the ODI and T20I formats.
Yuzvendra Chahal was the highest wicket-taker for India in the ODI format while Bhuvneshwar Kumar remained the highest run-getter in the T20I format.
India Tour of Sri Lanka 2024
The first match of the India tour of Sri Lanka 2024 will be played on July 26 in Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. The same venue will host the remaining two T20I matches while the three-match ODI series will be played at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
Rohit Sharma will lead the ODI squad while Suryakumar Yadav will lead India in the T20I series as Rohit announced his T20I retirement after winning the T20 World Cup 2024.
As Wanindu Hasaranga stepped down as T20I captain, the SLC named Charith Asalanka as their new skipper for the India series.
