Afghanistan tour of Zimbabwe 2022: Afghanistan will tour Zimbabwe to play 3 match ODI series and as many as T20I series in June 2022.
The three-match ODI series will kick start from Jun 04 in Harare Sports Club, Harare. Notably, the ODI series is a part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
The Zimbabwe series will be the first tour for Umar Gul as Afghanistan bowling coach. Gul was in the role along with former Pakistan captain Younis Khan, who had been roped in as the batting consultant for the camp.

As far as ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League is concerned, Afghanistan are currently at No. 5 with seven wins in nine games, whereas Zimbabwe are in 12th position with three wins in 12 matches.

Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan 2022 Squad
Senior all-rounder Gulbadin Naib has been dropped from the ODI squad due to his poor run of form in the format, with the highest score of 36 in seven innings since the beginning of 2021.
Hashmatullah Shahidi will be leading the ODI side, with Rahmat Shah as his deputy. When it comes to the T20 team, senior all-rounder Mohammad Nabi will be captaining the unit with Najibullah Zadran as the vice-captain.
