SA20 Prize Money: Cricket South Africa has announced the prize amount for the title winner of the SA20 2023 season which is R70 million which is approximately equal to INR 33.5 crore.
CSA Announces SA20 Prize Money
Cricket South Africa launched their T20 franchise cricket tournament after a long struggle. Earlier to the SA20 league, CSA launched T20 Global League and Mzansi Super League which became unsuccessful.
SA20 was established by CSA in 2022 through a newly formed entity, Africa Cricket Development (Pty) Limited (ACD). Prior to the announcement, all teams launched their official team jersey for the tournament.

SA 20 league commissioner was pleased to announce SA20 prize money. “We have worked hard to offer a rewarding and unprecedented incentive in the first season of Betway SA 20.
This is first for South African cricket, we have never had this type of competitive incentive in our domestic cricket and it is further indication of SA 20’s ambitions to positively impact South African cricket “ said Graeme Smith.
6 different cricket franchises, MI Cape town, Pretoria Capitals, Paarl Royals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Joburg Super king and Durban’s super giants will compete with each other to win the title of this 1st season of this SA20, 2023.
A total of 33 matches will be played throughout the tournament across 6 different venues in South Africa.
