MI Cape Town Squad: Reliance Jio – the owner of IPL T20 Mumbai Indias‘ team named their SA20 League team name as MI Cape Town. The players will join the One Family team and will adorn the iconic blue and gold colors that the fans have come to recognize from the MI franchise.
As per the league’s rules, each of the six franchises will get to pre-sign five players – three overseas, one South African international player and one uncapped South African player – prior to the auction, and MI Cape Town are the first team to announce their list of players.

MI Cape Town Wild Card Players:
MI Cape town had picked Jofra Archer as a wild player. It’s well known that he also plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL.
“Players will come in at a minimum base fee of R175 000, with Franchises using their discretion to select the calibre of players to bolster their squads, which will move from a playing personnel of 17 to 18. Players who were not registered for the auction are eligible for selection.” according to a press release.
“The wild card offers our teams an opportunity to add another world-class player to their squad,” league commissioner Graeme Smith said.

MI Cape Town has appointed coaches for each role for SA20 League 2023. Mahela Jayawardena, Zaheer Khan had been the coaches of Mumbai Indians given a wide role. Jayawardena as Global Head Performance and Zaheer Khan as Global Head of cricket development.
