RR vs DC Probable Playing 11
RR vs DC Probable Playing 11: After suffering a defeat in their opener match of the 2024 season, Delhi Capitals will be looking for a victory in the upcoming clash.
Delhi saw the comeback of the skipper Rishabh Pant in the first match. He returned to professional cricket after 15 months, Pant scored 18 runs off 13 balls before getting out to Harshal Patel during the match against Punjab Kings.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals had a positive start after winning the match against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24. Sanju Samson scored 82 runs off 52 deliveries while Riyan Parag’s 43 off 29 deliveries helped the side to win the match against Lucknow Super Giants.
“We decided on (Mitchell) Marsh and (David) Warner to open. Ricky Bhui is a middle-order batsman. They bat in different positions. It’s not (Ricky) Bhui for (Prithvi) Shaw but it’s a different opening combination. They opened for Australia at the top and have done well together, so we decided to open with them,” said Sourav Ganguly.
“We haven’t played a lot at SMS over the last few years. We came back last year and I don’t think we were as in-tune with the changes we had to make to our mindset and to our games to play on this track.”
“The pitches have been relaid, the topsoil. It’s just a case of adjusting your mindset over what’s presented, going with the gameplan, and then trusting to do the hard work that’s required on this pitch.”
“It’s not always a straightforward pitch and the players are more ready for that this year, hopefully,” said Kumar Sangakkara.
Apart from probable playing 11, we have also shared details of today’s playing 11 of the tournament. SRH is placed in the 7th position while MI secured the 8th position in the IPL 2024 points table.
