Arjun Tendulkar Maiden Century in Ranji Trophy

All-rounder Arjun Tendulkar made his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season in a match against Rajasthan on December 13, 2022. Winning the toss Rajasthan opted to bowl first.

Though Goa’s opening duo struggles and failed to score a massive score, Suyash Prabhudessai with his impressive double hundred led the team towards a safer zone.

After Goa’s middle order collapsed, Arjun Tendulkar who came to bat at no. 7 position scored his maiden Ranji Trophy century and helped Goa to score a total of 493 runs for 8 wickets loss at the end of day 2.

Arjun Tendulkar might lose his wicket via a run-out dismissal during his 99 but with a loud shout from non-striker, he returns to his end but picked the single after an overthrow.

In joy, Arjun Tendulkar removed his helmet and looked up(the sky) as his father do and asked the audience to make way so that he can bow down(might to his father who may be at the stadium to witness his only son’s Ranji debut)

Arjun Tendulkar scored 120 runs from 207 balls in his maiden match. During the 144th over of the first inning bowled by K Nagarkoti, Arjun Tendulkar stumbled and lost his wicket. Arjun Tendulkar’s 120 includes 16 fours and 2 sixes. As of now(3rd day), Goa scored 493 runs for 8 wickets loss.
