The opener Jaiswal’s 68 runs on 34 deliveries in the first T20I of Afghanistan’s India tour has lifted him seven places to a career-best ICC rankings in the T20I format, while another performer Shivam Dube’s unbeaten 60 and 63 runs have helped him to move forward from 265th place to 58th.

During the first match at Indore, India won the match by 6 wickets after chasing the target of 173. Yashasvi and Shivam Dube were the key performers during the match with their bat. Dube was more impressive along his four-wicket haul.

Batter Shubman Gill has moved up seven to 60th place while left-hander Tilak Varma moved forward to stand in 61st position. The left-arm bowler Arshdeep Singh jumped four places to 21st spot.

Among the Afghans, Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Nabi moved up in the batting rankings. On the other hand, Finn Allen scored 34 and 74 runs against Pakistan helped him to advance to 16th place in the batter rankings.

His fellowmate Tim Southee has moved forward who took six wickets in recently completed T20I matches has moved 8 places to 18th in the bowlers list.

Pakistan’s batter Babar Azam is up one place to the fourth spot after notching two consecutive half-centuries against New Zealand. The bowling rankings also feature the advancement of Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana taking a joint-third position.

Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf‘s five wickets in two matches against New Zealand have lifted him two places to the 14th spot.
