The Indian star Virat Kohli dropped an easy catch in the second clip to give a lifeline to Marnus Labuschagne at 0 during the first innings of the first test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
The incident took place on the fifth ball of the third over by Jasprit Bumrah of Australia’s first innings. Marnus induced an outside edge of Labuschagne as the ball quickly to Kohli’s right at second slip.
Virat Kohli caught the ball initially but soon dropped it after his knees hit the turf. Kohli was seemingly trying to pull the ball back towards the body to not let it touch the ground but couldn’t hold on ot it.

After batting first India lost 150 runs in their first innings. Debutant Nitish reddy being the top scorer for India smashing 41 runs.
KL Rahul’s dismissal has sparked controversy with fans doubting the third umpire’s decision.
The incident occurred on the 23rd over of India’s innings when Mitchell Starc bowled a delivery that angled across KL Rahul.
He moved forward to defend when the ball was close to the bat and was caught by Alex Carey. The on-field umpire initially ruled it not out, but Australia went for a review. It showed that there was a faint edge.
The review showed a spike on Snick, indicating contact as the ball passed him. However, the front-on replay is crucial for determining if the sound come from the bat or bat-pad contact is difficult.
KL Rahul visibly frustrated expressed his disbelief as he walked back to the Pavilion. His dismissal proved to be expensive for India as the side lost 4/47 at his dismissal.
