After playing in three seasons of the Indian Premier League, the all-rounder was left unsold during the IPL 2023 auction. He was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore during the IPL 2024 auction for a price of INR 1.5 crore.
He has played 13 matches across the league where he bagged 13 wickets and scored a total of 430 IPL runs.

He dismissed seven wickets during the test at Gabba to help his team win a thriller by eight runs. He ended the test series as the second most wicket-taker with 13 dismissals with an average of 17.31.
Even the cricket Analyst Prasanna has also indicated the signing of the player by the franchise.

The IPL fixtures are yet to be released by the BCCI as the general election dates clash with dates of the domestic league. BCCI and the Election Commission of India are working together to finalize the dates of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League.
