He was part of the Indian squad which played unofficial test matches against Australia A. The 26 year old Tanush Kotian has featured 33 FC games, scoring 1525 runs at average of 41.21 and picking 101 wickets at an average of 25.70.
Meanwhile, BCCI has announced that Shami will not be considered for the remaining tests for the BGT.
With being anticipated for his return for BGT 2025, the news has disappointed fans completely. Shami was not included in Bengal’s squad for the first game of the Vijay Hazare 2024-25 and his participation in the tournament will depend upon the state of his knee.
