Sunrisers Hyderabad smashed a highest total of 287 runs during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 15 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
They broke their record of the highest total ever in IPL history after surpassing the 277/3 runs they smashed against Mumbai Indians.
The IPL 2024 season is witnessing unpredicted scores as teams are pushing the scores consistently past 200.

Coming to the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore chose to bowl first where Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed an impressive score of 76 runs by the end of the powerplay during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 15 at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Batting first, the Hyderabad openers’ partnership has pressured Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bengaluru Stadium. Travis Head scored 52 runs on 21 deliveries while Abhishek scored 23 by the end of the power play.

Abhishek’s dismissal for 34 runs in the first ball of the 9th over by Reece Topley, Heinrich Klaasen joined the partnership with Head. Head smashed his 100 in 39 deliveries on the 12th over and secured fourth place in the list of the fastest Hundred in IPL history.
Heinrich Klaasen also adopted an aggressive batting style smashing 67 runs on 31 deliveries. Travis Head was dismissed by Lockie Ferguson after his 102 runs in 41 deliveries which included 9 fours and 8 sixes.
The Economy of RCB bowlers went past 10. With Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad’s impressive scores of 32 and 37 runs, SRH was able to post 287 runs in 20 overs
Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened for RCB putting a score of 79/0 in the powerplay. After Virat’s dismissal, the RCB’s batting lineup started to collapse.
Virat Kohli was dismissed for 42 runs he scored in 20 deliveries including 6 fours and two sixes. Faf du Plessis smashed fifty but with the dismissal of Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar for 7 and 9 runs, RCB started to crumble on SRH’s bowling attack.
Faf du Plessis was sent out with 62 runs by Pat Cummins where RCB was down to four for 121 runs at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
