Sunil Narine and Philip Salt opened the innings where they went to score 138 runs for the first wicket. Sunil Narine smashed his fifty on 23 deliveries and went on to score 71 runs including 9 fours and 4 sixes.
Rahul Chahar dismissed him on the 11th over of the match. After his dismissal, Venkatesh Iyer came to the crease while Philip Salt lost his wicket to Sam Curran after smashing 75 runs on 37 deliveries including 6 fours and 6 sixes.
