    Virat Kohli’s passion for cricket is as always as a debutant. The Second Test of the West Indies Tour 2023 is online, where the first day of the innings completed with 288 runs at Trinidad.

When Jomel Warrican was about to bowl, Virat’s voice was heard on the mic and even he reacted to it.

    Kohli was on a memorable match as his 500th International game after the West Indies put up a tough fight against India.

    Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja played some well-planned strikes in the final session and confirmed India with 106 runs in 33.2 overs without losing a wicket.

    The first day ended with 84 overs by West Indies. Virat Kohli was going to enter into the second day of the match with just 14 runs away from his first hundred in a home-away Test since December 2018.

    The majority of his six boundaries came on the off side including a perfect cover drive off a Kemar Roach half-volley in the 57th over. Jadeja was equally matching the co-batters phase on piercing through the field.

    Virat Kohli’s efforts have paid off for his 76 on a slow pitch in the series opener, brought up his 30th Test fifty with a boundary off spinner Jomel Warrican in the 67th over.

    At the start of his innings, Kohli was tested with the fourth stump line but he came through of the spell.

    The opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal had a 139-run partnership stand to provide another perfect launch pad before the West Indies took four wickets in the afternoon session to stop India’s scoring rate.

    Second WI test 

    The second Test of IND vs WI 2023 started on July 20, at Port of Spain where West Indies won the toss and chose to field. On opening for India, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit scored a partnership century of 139 runs.

    Yashasvi had scored 57 runs that includes nine fours and one six. Rohit Sharma had scored 80 runs that includes nine fours and two sixes. He was sent out by Warrican on the 39th over.

    After Shubman Gill and Rahane was sent out on single digit figure Jadeja and Virat had the stance on the ground until the end of the day.
