SRH Target Players: After spending a total value of INR 75 Cr for retentions, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be heading to the mega auction with a remaining purse value of INR 45 Cr.
According to the new IPL 2025 retention rules released by BCCI, each team can retain six players from their existing squad via retention or the Right to Match (RTM) option.
As they made five retentions out of six allowed for the franchise, the team might use their RTM card option to buy back a player and will go for a new set of players during IPL 2025 mega auction.

T Natarajan
Being a yorker specialist, T. Natarajan has been evolved into a more versatile bowler. With Natarajan being more impressive with defensive skills that he even bowled a triple-wicket maiden.
Natrajan has an economy rate of 8.83 which displays his effectiveness in containing runs while taking wickets.
Venkatesh Iyer
Despite a deadly opening combination they showed in previous IPL 2024 season, the franchise is looking for an Indian middle order batter and Venkatesh Iyer could fill this position for them. The franchise will look to spend some amount during mega auction.
Mohammed Siraj
The Hyderabad born bowler had already played for the side in IPL 2015-17 seasons and will be aiming to buy back at the action.
Ravichandra Ashwin
One of the most exciting players to enter the Indian Premier League 2025 auction is Ravichandra Ashwin.He was released by the Rajasthan Royals after three seasons with the franchise. Representing RR, Ashwin picked up 35 wickets in 45 games.
Ashwin’s quality as a spinner along with his experience makes him valuable asset. It is to be noted that RR do not have any RTM card to use on the off spinner.
Sameer Rizvi
The explosive batter Sameer Rizvi played for CSK in 2024 season who has been bought for INR 8.40 cr making him the costliest uncapped player in tha auction.
Ahead of the mega auction, five players Heinrich Klaasen, Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy are named in SRH’s retained players list.

The IPL governing council has confirmed that the mega auction will be held in November 24 and 25 at Jeddah. Despite the event being hosted overseas, IPL fans can still enjoy the IPL 2025 auction live streaming from their home.
As a part of the season, BCCI will release the IPL 2025 schedule, IPL 2025 squad, IPL 2025 live streaming, IPL 2025 ticket booking links, and IPL 2025 team jersey details right before the start of the tournament.
