South Africa Squad for India Series: Cricket South Africa have announced the squad for the upcoming multiformat series against India. Aiden Markram will lead South Africa in white-ball games while Temba Bavuma will lead the side in Test matches.

South Africa Squad for India Series: During the India tour of South Africa 2023-24, two teams will contest three KFC T20Is, and three Betway ODIs and will culminate with the Freedom Series for the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy involving two Tests. The Test series will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.
Kagiso Rabada and Temba Bavuma have been rested for the ODI series of the tour and will return for the Test series. Aiden Markram who leads the team in T20Is will also do so in ODIs in the absence of Bavuma.
Gerald Coetzee, Marco Jansen, and Lungi Ngidi will miss the final T20I as well as the ODI series to prepare for the Test series by participating in first-class matches for their respective domestic sides.
All-rounder Mihlali Mpongwana, batter David Bedingham, and fast bowler Nandre Burger – have been awarded their maiden international call-ups. Mpongwana has been named in the ODI squad following his successful CSA Division 1 One-Day Cup campaign, while Bedingham has been named in the Test squad.
28-year-old Burger, who has had a spectacular domestic season, has been named in all three squads.
Batter Tristan Stubbs received his maiden Test call-up to the side, while wicket-keeper Kyle Verreynne has been recalled to the ODI and Test squads for the India series.
Fast bowlers Anrich Nortje, and Wayne Parnell, who are recovering from injuries were not included in the squad. Following are the details of the South Africa Squad for India Series.
