SL vs IND 3rd T20I Probable Playing 11 – Will Shubman return to the final T20I?

SL vs IND 3rd T20I Probable Playing 11: Though Sri Lanka lost the three-match T20I series, the hosts will test some of their new combinations to deal with their middle-order issue.

Since January 2023, Sri Lanka has tried 11 batters in the position from 5-7 and only four of those have scored at a strike rate of higher than 150 which includes Wanindu Hasaranga and Dasun Shanaka.

Sri Lanka could bring in Dinesh Chandimal in place of Dasun Shanaka and they might bring in Avishka Fernando and push Kamindu Mendis slightly lower to stabilize their middle-order issue.

Speaking on the Indian side, After sealing the series victory, team India might give chances to some of the players who were benched for the first two games. Shubman Gill who missed the second T20I owing to neck spasms might make his way back into the squad.

Sanju Samson who failed to utilize his opportunity in the second T20I might replace Rishabh Pant if the selectors decide to give him a chance. India could also give a chance to Khaleel Ahmed and Washington Sundar in their final T20I game of the series.
